Un factor clave en la interpretación de la Gestalt en la escritura es determinar lo que motiva al escritor. Es un proceso holístico en el que las motivaciones, las necesidades y el comportamiento se superponen en una complejidad dinámica que puede ser difícil de tamizar. Cada letra tiene sus cualidades únicas, su comportamiento único expresivo, ya que cada movimiento, y el grupo de movimientos, representa un gesto personal del individuo. Aplicando la teoría del Temperamento, una tipología de personalidad derivado de Myers Briggs y las teorías de Jung, puede ayudar a un analista a encontrar motivaciones y valores fundamentales a través de la escritura. Conceptualmente, es una poderosa herramienta que añade una nueva perspectiva para ver la esencia de un escritor, que complementa el uso de la grafología tradicional, superponiéndose con lo que aprendemos acerca de la motivación desde otras tipologías, incluyendo los tipos mitológicos, y el Eneagrama. Cada uno proporciona un punto de vista diferente con lo que interpretar la mentalidad del escritor. Encontrar la motivación en la escritura se convierte en el núcleo que hace que la grafología sea una herramienta de evaluación tan poderosa. A key factor in interpreting the gestalt in handwriting is determining what motivates the writer. It is a holistic process in which motivations, needs and behavior overlap in a dynamic complexity that can be difficult to sift out. Every handwriting has its unique qualities, its unique expressive behaviors, as each movement, and group of movements, represents a personal gesture of the individual. Applying Temperament theory, a personality typology derived from Myers Briggs and Jungian theories, can assist an analyst find core motivations and values from handwriting. Conceptually, it is a powerful tool that adds another perspective to view the essence of a writer, supplementing the use of traditional graphology, and overlaying it with what we learn about motivation from other typologies, including Mythological types, and the Enneagram. Each provides a different vantage point from which to interpret the mindset of the writer. Finding motivation in handwriting is at the center of what makes graphology such a powerful assessment tool. Patricia Siegel is a business consultant, executive coach, handwriting analyst and forensic expert, with broad experience using a variety of assessment tools. She is currently President of The American Society of Professional Graphologists and was a Faculty Member at The New School for Social Research teaching an accredited psychology of handwriting program for seventeen years. Pat has a masters degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Professional Coaching certification. Her publications, including articles and book chapters, appear in five languages.
